Anne tells her story…
“Every day I see women who are capable and smart but they’re not happy and not achieving what they want because they’ve lost faith in themselves, they’re exhausted, they put everyone else first, they’ve forgotten what’s really important to them and they’ve unwittingly given away their power.
I know how this feels because I used to be like that too.
After years in corporate, followed by just as many years as a stay at home mum, who volunteered and was trying to build a business, I felt worn out trying to juggle too many demands at once. I was sick of going around in circles getting nowhere. My outlook became negative and my confidence hit an all-time low. To others I appeared successful, but I felt empty and a failure inside.
I challenged myself to find a way to get back on the right track and stay there. A way that would move me forward. A way that was sustainable and balanced. A way that was simple. As part of this, I knew I had to master my mindset, start communicating more honestly, create goals that set my heart on fire and implement actions that produced real results, as well as return to having fun with my family and friends. A tall order!
When I shared this with other women, I was shocked to hear so many felt the same way. So, I made it my mission to create a step-by-step process that I could share with all sisters, girl-friends, female entrepreneurs and even my daughters!
Over time, I tested lots of different modalities for mental, emotional and physical wellbeing. I noted my trials and errors, my wins and losses, my ups and downs. I kept what worked and got rid of what didn’t and this is how my “Process for Success” was born.
I’ve taken many women through this process and they have all benefited. You can hear some of their stories on the testimonials page.
Around the same time, I started a women’s empowerment group in Sydney because I believe we can all help each other rise. There are now over 500 members and I invite you to join us. We often have a female speaker share her success story and I share mindset tips. In an effort to practice our mantra of “women supporting women” we ask for a small donation which is forwarded to the local women’s shelter.
As my reputation grew, so did my confidence and my business which I named 2Mpower after my girls (Maris and Megan the 2Ms).
